so much to blog about...
my san antonio trip was the best. heather and i had such a great time. we started a little late yesterday and headed down to meet robs. we ended up getting to san antonio a little earlier than expected so, we checked into the hotel and vegged out. good times, good times.
robs and chris show up at a few minutes before 6 and we immediatly begin the work on our poster. we had decided that the front would say:
carter 4 prez and the back would say:
tawatha is a DIVA. we finally finish up a little before six thirty and head to jack in the crack to get some preshow munchies. i won't even go into the preshow drama. all i am going to say is that i really really wanted to see howie day and thanks to some asshole who HAD to eat, i missed his performance.
by the time we get into the show, junior brown is just finishing up his set. (on a side note, i would highly reccomend NOT missing his set, the last song he played was friggin nuts! my prediction is that he will most likely join the boys in a little
watchtower action later. ) heather and i sit down in our seats and drool. seriously, these are the friggin NUTHOUSE seats. we almost cried. lights go down and dave walks out first. i hold up my sign and he starts laughing, then waves to carter to look at it. carter flashes me a HUGE smile and sits down. a few minutes later, the lovely tawatha enters. i grab the sign and some annoying ass frat boy behind me tells me to take it down. i hold it up long enough for her to see, get my props, and take it down. i am telling you, it was the best concert experience i have ever had. during
angel, tawatha was singing and pointing to me and heather. she even gave us the horns since we kept flashing them to her. it was unreal.
at the very end of the show, carter came down to the very end of the stage and threw a drumstick to me. it was seriously the best feeling ever. it is now sitting in my bag. i am afraid to touch it. but really, its the best.
"that's a cool drumstick, did stefan throw it to you?"
