i ate so much yesterday.

elise's mom had SO much food at that party, i swear there was enough food for 100 people. maybe more. she was basically making people leave with doggie bags.

the party was nice. elise and marcus looked so happy around everyone and it was SO nice to finally meet marcus' parents. very nice people. i love the fact that all of the parents get a long. it should make for a very nice wedding planning.

i believe the invite said, "no gifts"- but they got so much shit it was unreal. the big joke was that they got all these serving platters and they don't even have everyday dishes, yet.

i leave for kansas in 3 days. i am very excited to see john. and even more excited to get this "birthday" present he keeps talking about. damn boys, can't keep anything to themselves. :)
