it's been a really long week and a half.

first off, we didn't make it to the counting crows show on the 10th because some jackass ran a red light and hit my car when i was on my way home from work that day. because he was in a work vehicle, we had to go down to the police station to file a report and by the time i got home it was almost 6:30 and i was in no mood to party like the rock start that i am. instead, we stayed home and had chipotle for dinner, finished packing and passed out early.

saturday was a run-around day. we didn't have to be at the airport until 3 so i treated myself to a mani-pedi and picked up some snacks for the dog sitter. the flight to sf was pretty uneventful. we watched taladega nights which was funny but not as funny as i had anticipated. from the second we stepped off the plane, it was non-stop until we left tuesday.

the wedding itself was nice but my feet were in so much pain that i was so thankful that i remembered to bring my flip flops to change into after the ceremony. the reception was a big high school youth group reunion. i hadn't seen most of the people there in nearly 12 years. it's funny how much people don't change. for the most part i could go another 12 without seeing these people although i did enjoy catching up with delilah and julie. the end of the night was the worst part though. walking a mile back to mikey's with drunk john. for those of you who've never met drunk john before, it's not fun. really not fun but i won't go into that.

monday was spent catching up with friends and cleaning out my room. my mom threatened to throw everything away herself so i at least had to be sure that i had removed anything of sentimental value. john laughed at all of my mixed tapes. ha! he has no clue. i can't believe i threw them all away but, it really was time. monday night we went for sushi and then topped the night off with an it's it.

nothing too exciting going on this week other than getting excited for dmb next tuesday. it'll just be us, jess and brynn - very low key. i am really looking forward to hearing some new songs and enjoying the show.

until next time...

it's all of a matter of opinion. like when you said "you can't even walk in a straight line!" and i made it 2 feet and then sideswiped a tree i would've been laughing my ass off at me.

you just worry too much. and i appreciate that.
