it's been a while.

there's a lot going on right now. most i won't go into, but my life is changing dramatically.

remember the whole ice debacle? well, it turned into a huge ordeal and i got written up for telling people (my boss) that i felt it was inappropriate that the ceo wasn't in the hospital when the rest of the staff were told they had to be there. long story short, i am actively looking for a new job.

we're in dallas for the weekend. barbara had a surprise 60th party for my dad last night. it was really nice and my dad was shocked. he even shed a few tears. it was really great.

today, is going to be family fun day. we have to go pick up some liquor (because no family event is complete without it) and then we'll head over to the rents. at this moment, they're still enjoying the byron nelson suite at the four seasons. the room is bigger than our house. it has a grand piano and a full dining room. quite incredible.
