i don't even know where to begin.

last weekend was incredible. i had such a good time!!! john and i were as cute as ever. i'm sure i am not the only one that will vouche for that. well, except for justin's mom who said we were tacky. anyway.

friday night john and i had dinner with my mom and the nana. it was really nice. we went to this incredible cajun resturant called creo la. YUMMY. i had this fabulous salmon and john had fiesta pasta. (i found out later he ordered the pasta to "carb" up for later that night. of course he told me that when he was drunk on saturday:) ) then we shared what i think may have been the best pecan pie ever. thick crust, a layer of cheesecake and a layer of pecan. oh my god. it was absolutely orgasmic. after that we were going to go see "serendipity" but, we were too tired.

saturday we headed to bridge around 12. thanks to justin, james and john; we had PRIME lawn seats. everyone can attest to that. the show was really good. seeing dave with john was kinda surreal. i mean, if it weren't for dmb, we never would have met. it was really special. REALLY special. towards the end of the show i was exhausted and actually fell asleep in john's arms during neil young and crazy horse.

sunday was bittersweet. took john to the airport. it wasn't too sad. i mean, i know i am going to be seeing him in 4 days so...i cried but not as hysterically as i did when i left kansas city. i am so pathetic. the proceeded to sharon's. got incredibly lost going there. went for lunch, then headed to the show.

there are so many things i could talk about regarding sunday's show. it was really good. the highlight was tracy chapman coming on stage during dave's set and singing "the maker" wth him. i can honestly say it was one of the most amazing duets i have ever heard in my life.

and now it's monday, back to reality...
