it's not very often that i say this, but i am really disliking my job.

i am so tired of the disrespect i get just because i have the word, "assistant" after my title. people talk to me like i am an idiot and constantly interrupt me when i am on the phone. and, i can't begin explain the frustration that comes with this lack of disrespect.

and speaking of disrespect, i get really annoyed with listening to john's parents and grandparents go on and on about all of the anniversaries that have happened lately. as a matter of fact, when we were at his grandparent's a few months back, his grandmother SHOWED me the anniversary cards she had bought rick and kirsten. but did they call or send us a card on our anniversary? no. and then, john's mom told me yesterday that we should call his grandparents to see if the dvd/vcr that he set up for them last weekend was working alright. maybe it's my lack of maturity, but i don't want to help anyone who doesn't seem the least bit interested in me.

maybe it's just me, but to get respect, you've got to give respect.
