i found my dress! ironically, it was the very first dress i tried on. i absolutely love it beyond words.

the funny thing is, it's nothing like what i thought i wanted. and of course, i can't give you a description because my groom reads this site! actually, i have decided that only the moms, my sis and will see it before the big day. i'm trying to build up aniticpation!!!!

the weekend has actually been really nice. it's really cool to have my sister and my mom here to help me with all of the dress hunting...and just to have around, in general. last night we made a pact that we would do this every year. one weekend with just the three girls.

we're off to lunch with john's mom and dad!(and john, too - i've hardly seen him this weekend!)
