i wonder if people ever learn from mistakes they have made in the past. for instance, my dad cheated on my mom. does that mean he will cheat again?

it really irks me when i see someone i know, whom i consider to be a friend following an old path. they have a history of doing shady things and have stated time and time again that they would never put themselves in a situation like the one which has made them shady in the past. does this make sense?

i have no time in my life for liars, cheats or people who pretend to be your friend and completely "dis" you to other people.
